Many
of the residential properties in the targeted
neighborhoods qualify for a 20% Historic Rehabilitation
Tax Credit from the Maryland Historical Trust
and a property tax freeze from the Baltimore
City Commission for Historic and Architectural
Preservation (CHAP).In addition, commercial
properties may be eligibile for an additional
20% tax credit from the National Park Service.
