In our first ten years, we focused our work in Mt. Vernon, the biggest and most visible of the Midtown neighborhoods.  We did this because Mt. Vernon was sliding badly in 2000 and threatening the whole center of the city. There were drug dealers, prostitutes, and a steadily-growing number of vacant houses and apartments.  Today, through our work, Mt. Vernon is safe, clean, and beautiful.  The neighborhood gained 1,000 residents between 2000 and 2010, and property values quintupled. 

We are now building on that success.  With Jubilee Baltimore, we are developing the largest vacant building in Charles North and managing a major professional planning effort for Bolton Hill, Madison Park, and the adjacent neighborhoods of Central West Baltimore.
